Hair Restoration

An estimated 80 million people in the United States have hereditary hair thinning or baldness. There is a safe and effective, non-surgical solution that is helping both men and women regrow hair naturally using Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).

Blood is made of two primary elements, plasma and red blood cells. The plasma is comprised of white blood cells and platelets. Growth factors, found in the platelets, help stimulate the hair follicles and promote natural hair growth.

The use of Amniotic Fluid in this procedure, alongside the PRP therapy, is an additional option for patients. Amniotic Fluid is rich in growth factors and hyaluronic acid.

PRP and Amniotic Fluid therapy was originally used to speed up the healing process for injuries. Today, these naturally regenerative sources of cellular building-blocks, rich in cytokines and other growth factors are also being used for facial rejuvenation and to stimulate hair growth. This highly effective treatment is quick, affordable and has been shown to increase hair count and thickness.

How does it work?

Blood is drawn from the patient and spun in a centrifuge which separates the red blood cells from the plasma. The platelet rich plasma is then injected directly into the scalp, stimulating natural hair growth. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.
